Lorraine Colond is a Canadian actor, born in Singapore and of Indian/Cambodian ancestry.

As a young girl she moved to Nepean, Ontario with her family and later attended the University of Ottawa studying the Stanislavsky technique and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre.    

Diploma in hand she quickly headed west across country, eager to make a name for herself in Film and TV.   

 Vancouver became her new home where she  immersed herself in the local acting scene and with several productions under her belt decided to give stand up comedy a try and went for it at an open mike night at the Urban Well hosted by Brent Butt of Corner Gas fame where she was well received.  

 With her love of storytelling and powerful imagination, Lorraine went on to write a pilot script for a fantasy TV series and a supernatural short film script, both with strong ethnic female leads. 

 She is also excited about her collaboration on a TV series centering on an female DC comic superhero.

When not performing on screen or writing, Lorraine loves to spend her time cooking, baking, playing with her nephews and volunteering with local organizations that give back to the community.

 Lorraine is also a practitioner of the martial arts:  Krav Maga, Combat Jiujitsu, Northern Shaolin Kung-Fu and Tai Chi Chuan
